The International School Librarians in Europe (ISLE) Conference is a conference and workshop designed for librarians and teacher-librarians in international schools in Europe. The first conference was in March of 2025 at the American School of London, and it is now an annual event hosted by international school librarians across the continent. Our March 2026 conference is being hosted by the International School of Amsterdam’s libraries.
Inspired in part by the Librarians Knowledge Sharing Workshop in Asia, the mission of the ISLE Conference is to provide a welcoming environment for sharing and learning, where the delegates are also the presenters. Visits to literary and library locations in the conference host school’s city are an integral part of the conference, as are social events!
